The eigth grade is in Israel!

This is the first week of a two-week unit reading King and the Dragonflies by Kacen Callender.

The 7th graders led the Yom HaShoah program this Tuesday.

This Week in 7 and 8, 3/17

Our 8th grade students, Nattaf and Yadid, organized a chess tournament and held it this week. They had a lot of participation from other classes!

 

In 7th grade math, we started to learn about expression: simplifying and adding expressions.

We did an activity for “Pi Day” as well.


This Week in 7 and 8, March 10

This week is the chapter 8 test (Polynomials) and the start of chapter 9 (Quadratic Functions and Equations).

This week in art the students started a painting project in which they had to create light, medium and dark shades of gray.
