Grades 5-6: Week of 11/13/23

In Science, the first Physics Friday session had 5-6 students weighing dozens of eggs of many sizes. Not one egg was injured in the process! Their eggsact position on a graph was noted. Just how this data may change in time is the question.

In Geo-History, students began the unit on Europe by identifying countries, cities, rivers, and other features and facts about the continent.

This week in Art, the students learned about and began to create Mexican Tree of Life Candelabras out of clay.

This week in Music, we had theory day and learned about Treble Clef notes! We also started working on singing and posture in preparation for the Chanukah Production. Our performers were Emily & Leah on the drums, and Alona on the piano. Our Mimi Award winner was Ofek!
