This week in Language Arts, we worked on vocabulary. We also finished our preparation for the trial of Mrs. Maloney from ‘Lamb to the Slaughter.’ We are waiting for Mr. K to come back from Israel (where he’s volunteering) until we actually have the trial. Meanwhile, we began reading The Giver.’ Please ask your students what a utopia is!

In Judaics, we finished up our projects on the Sanhedrin (great and lesser) and the early nesiim (leaders of the judicial system). We compared it with the legal system in this country. We also started the presentations on this subject.

For the past two weeks in Art, the students have been working on a Mexican Candelabra clay project.

This week in Music, we worked on singing skills and the Chanukah Production music. Our Mimi Award Winner was Cora!
