In math this week the 2nd graders started multiplication and division. The 1st graders have started a unit on graphing. They enjoyed making tally charts, picture graphs, and bar graphs.

 

This week in art the students continued to work on their animal habitat diorama. They are very excited to work on this! They are welcome to bring in items from home to add to them - please let them know.

 

This week in music we had a history day in which we learned about Mexico and some of the most notable types of music, dance, and instruments to come from their culture. Elizabeth Rose performed on the piano, and the Mimi Award winners were Riley, Sasha, and Elizabeth Rose!
