We have started the book of Shemot in Parsha and it’s the perfect tie-in to Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.  We have been discussing the concept of fairness, decency and equality.  We had a great discussion on how we can be different from one another but how we can still be treated with respect and decency.

This week was Game Week in music with a game called “Bread and Butter” seeing if they could guess the time signatures! Performers were Ben and Yair on the electric guitar. Our Mimi Award Winners were Zevi, Aaron, Valerie, & Yair!

This week in art the students worked on their snowpeople “huddles”. It’s an exercise in looking at things from a different perspective.
