We did math projects this week. Third grade designed a zoo. They used perimeter and area to draw the blueprints for the zoo’s attractions. They chose 4 existing animals to be in their zoos; they also had a new kind of animal designed by their imagination.

 

Fourth grade planned a trip to an out of state fair. Booking a hotel, renting a van, figuring out the mileage and cost of tickets are a few of the math problems they had to solve.

 

In art class, the students are continuing to work on their one-point perspective landscape drawings, using colored pencils to color them. They were able to choose which landscape they wanted to draw.
