Art : Bushel of Blueberries
Materials Needed:
Multiple popsicle sticks (or strips of brown paper, if you don’t have popsicle sticks)
Blue paint
Glue
White construction paper
Paper plate or small bowl
Take the popsicle sticks or strips of brown paper and have your child create a pattern that would resemble a basket. Have your child glue them onto the white paper.
Pour the blue paint onto a paper plate or small cup. Dip your child’s fingers into the blue paint and have your child make “blueberry” fingerprints all along their basket (popsicle stick pattern).
Shavuot Bingo. You will need a bag and a bowl of coins (or beans).
Print the attachments, cut out the individual pictures and place in a bag. Each person takes a Bingo card. The first person picks a picture card from the bag and whoever has that picture on their card covers it with a coin (or bean). The first one to fill their card shouts out 'SHAVUOT BINGO!' http://drive.google.com/file/d/16qHqwyeRV3QcfessKWLwMzQLR_QWYQrH/view?usp=sharing
Number:
Ice cream cones. Why not? Ice cream is dairy and we're getting ready for Shavuot.
Print the attachment and draw on the correct number of scoops of ice cream. Use different colors for your favorite flavors. http://drive.google.com/file/d/1AqLCl2n7P-tKhJ1QigSp4FvABSpwowgL/view?usp=sharing

Gross Motor:
On Shavuot, some families go hiking and sleep in tents to remember the Jewish people who travelled through the desert from Egypt all the way to the Promised Land - Israel. Today you should build a tent, indoors or outside, using chairs, sheets, pillows. You can bring along snacks and maybe a flashlight and design your tent any way you like.
