This Week in 5 and 6, 10/14

In the past two weeks, students have been working on geography projects, taking the chapter 1 test, and starting chapter 2 (The Earliest Human Societies) in Ancient History and learned about Indigenous Peoples' Day and the electoral system in Current Events. Question for Shabbat dinner: Who was the Iceman?

We explored different ways to find the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM) in math class.

In beginner Hebrew students have been working on reading, writing in script, and new vocabulary.

We got to work on designing two measures of rhythm notes in teams and then passed them to other teams to perform with claves and drums! Our performers were Gabby and Lital doing a fun dance! Our Mimi Award Winner was Aaron!

On Friday, we hosted Grandparents and Special Friends Day. Our students and their guests shared lunch together, participated in fun classroom activities and Kabbalat Shabbat.
