We have started our Poetry Unit. The students have been learning about different types of poems.  During reading they have been reading poems and during writing this week they wrote their own Haiku Poem to add to put in their Poetry Pocket.

This week in art the students started a spring project. We talked about different lines of design and colors on the color wheel. Then we created a painting that combined both elements that we will transform into a multimedia project in the coming weeks.
