Spelling Battleship is one of the favorite ways students choose to practice their spelling words. Instead of placing ships on the grid students write words from their spelling lists. Then they take turns guessing where the letters are on their opponent’s grid.

It was history week and we learned about German music history. They did some excellent note-taking! Our performers were Ofek on drums, and Zevi on piano. Our Mimi Award winners were Cora and Zippy!

The 3/4 class worked on their collaborative Native American Totem poles to reinforce what they are learning in social studies. We talked about how each totem pole is a specific type and each table decided what theme they wanted for their pole. They each created their own face for the pole based on their theme - ask your child what their theme is.
