Our STEM activity this week was Catapult Bowling. The students built a catapult out of popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and a bottle cap. They decorated a ping pong ball and set up 10 clothes pins to “bowl” down. A lot of experimenting was going on as students adjusted the trajectory of the ping pong ball.

In February the students created pastel drawings of jazz instruments in honor of Black History Month.

We finished up our signs that will show where Jerusalem is in relation to our classroom. They will be put up next week. It will help us remember that tefillah is a special holy time in our day. 

We began to study Purim!
