Grades 3-4: Week of 3/25/24

In Reading, third graders learned how important envisioning is when reading. As for fourth graders, they are encouraged to use precise words when describing their characters, while supporting their answer in multiple parts of the book that they are reading.

This week in Art, the students continued to work on their bean mosaics. They are looking great!

In Music, it was instrument week, and we learned about historic Italian instruments, drew some instruments, and reflected on styles! We had  performances from Ofir, Sasha, and Tamar, and our Mimi Award winners were Ofir, Zippy, Mira, Daniella, and Ramona.

In Judaics, this week we learned about Parshat Tzav, but we mostly learned about and celebrated Purim!

In Hebrew, we continued with our program and did an assessment of the last chapter. We practiced some more for “the order of the day” upcoming written assessment and learned some new songs to enrich our vocabulary.
