This week in language arts, we have been watching the wonderful film version of The Crucible, which truly brings to life the story of the Salem Witch Hunt and the terrible toll it took on innocent people. Arthur Miller said at  the time the movie was released that he was very pleased with it.

In Judaics, we finished our essays on The 57  Bus  and began our unit on the Book of Jonah.My history students are beginning their examination of the French and Indian War and how it started a chain of events that led directly to the Revolutionary War and American independence.

Our 8th graders learned how to give directions in Hebrew. They were tasked with giving directions to their partner, and the partner needed to draw accordingly. Students learned and had a lot of fun.
