Happy Thanksgiving from 7 and 8!

Our 5th-8th grade classes had a guest speaker this week, alum Ari Kaufman-Franfel. Ari works as a staff member for Senator Whitehouse in Rhode Island and he spoke to the students about his duties as a member of the senator's staff and the different projects that his team is working on.

In Algebra I part 2, we’re still studying radical expressions (7.4).

This week we dove into German music history! We spent lots of time discussing how music changes through different eras and the influence of famous composers. Our performer was Joey on piano and our Mimi Award winner was Zoe!

In art, the students continued to work on their Notans. They worked through the challenges of creating the positive/ negative mirror images.
