This week, the 5th and 6th graders spent time baking desert for Friday's bake sale which raised money for people affected by the war in Ukraine. The bake sale was so successful that we sold out before the end of the day!

In music, we had a history day in which we spent more time on specific composers from the Romantic Era. We focused on Beethoven, Chopin, and Fanny Mendelssohn. We listened to beautiful music and we also got performances from Caleb on the electric guitar! Our Mimi Award Winner was Miri for her detailed and thorough note taking!

 

In art, the students finished their Japanese inspired paintings.
