Our Third Week of Distance Learning

Dear Ezra Families,

We are three weeks into our new reality and have begun to hit our pace just as Pesach vacation comes along! This time of year is joyous and we all look forward to time spent with family and loved ones. I strongly believe that we can still do so. We are a resilient community and have already proven that we can make the most of a difficult situation. So take a deep breath everyone!

The teachers and I have compiled a few resources for you at home. One will give you ideas on how to conduct a virtual Seder, should you wish to do so. Even if you do not, there are some really nice resources, so take a look. Second, we are sending a document of suggestions of things you can do as a family to make the coming 2 weeks  joyous, engaging and just downright fun!

Despite the fact that we cannot connect with family and friends personally, I for one, am looking forward to having the time to connect virtually. I am also looking forward to some relaxation time. I hope to read, garden, walk my dogs and spend some time with my husband, without the additional pressures of work. For our faculty this is also a well deserved break. They have all gone above and beyond and we so appreciate them and all that they do.

Stay positive, stay active and engaged with your children and have a Chag Sameach!

Missing you all! Shabbat Shalom,

Melanie
