Important Information from Dr. Waynik

Dear Families,

This has been a short but busy week of online learning. Today our fifth graders were surprised to be presented with their Tikkunim which had been "secretly" dropped off at each of their homes. It was a lovely ceremony as usual and we take great pride and joy in knowing that these students will now become regular Torah readers at Ezra teffilah and in their synagogues, camps and many other places of Jewish prayer.

Our reopening school task force met this week and will continue to plan for the opening of school in the fall. Thank you to the medical personnel, teachers, parents and board members that have agreed to help in this complicated effort. We will certainly keep you abreast of all of our plans as they develop.

Given the great deal of planning that will need to take place in order to open Ezra safely and in the best interests of students, families and staff, I have planned a professional development day for our teachers on Friday, June 5th. Students will NOT have classes that day. Please mark your calendars appropriately and do let your children sleep in that day!

Wishing you all a Chag Sameach
